Re: The Dead

Very impressed with the general overaly story, as I wasn't expecting alot from this one. A very good little zombie movie the only gripe was the clunky radio ending, also when the man looking for his son (was it daniel) and the 'town mayor' were talking in front of the fire, the lighting effect and t...

Re: Damned By Dawn

The first half an hour or so I was really enjoying the film. The banshee was freaky and it looked the markings of being a good scary film. Then a computer generated flying skeleton appeared and too much of the banshee was shown and the impending dread and fear was gone. The zombie boyfriend bit was ...

Re: The Pack

I wouldn't get too excited waiting for the DVD, this film was very, very poor save for a few decent shots and the odd piece of mildly amusing humour. Don't read on if you want to avoid any spoilers. 1 - The acting of the bike gang was just awful, trying too hard to appear crazy and unhinged and ins...

Re: The Loved Ones

Best film of the festival, well made, acted, soundtracked. I feel sad for people who missed make it. A strange time slot maybe.

Great bit of smoke for drill on bone.

Re: I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE

Good remake, the revenge acts were top notch and more satisfing. However I still think on some level I prefer the original for it's randomness and cruelness.

Re: 13 Hrs

i agree it was a bit slow to get going but it was entertaining enough once it suddenly kicked off, ive got to say though, i saw the 'twist' coming about 45 mins before it happened , that wig in the bedroom sort of made me realise what was going on. although i liked the extra little twist that expla...

Re: F

Really enjoyed it, the only thing I would say was it was too gory. Yes I can't believe I said it either, but some of the mutilated deaths I think took the feel away. On the whole though an excellent film and great acting.

Re: FRIGHTFEST 2010 LINEUP!!!

I'm feeling that I don't have a certain film that I'm looking out for, which I'm kind of happy with as I'll be more open to good suprises. I guess Monsters would be one, also I will probably look to try and get the early Burning Bright showing. It's a shame the escape from vampire island isn't on a ...

Re: Where are you sitting?

Row DD 17 and 18 Hopefully the heckler isn't the drunk guy from last years 'Vampire girl vs...' who insisted on doing a fake laugh at the top of his lungs for 90% of the film, it was mildly amusing but definitely not as funny as he was making out.....twat I can reassure you he wasn't! I don't remem...

I'm know I'm sad, but I needed to defend it from Sun readers

Just saw on The Sun online them complaining about Human Centipede so I decided to battle the people complaining with my own comments. My 2 cents... I saw this at a film festival last year. I'm not what you would call a massive horror fan in the way of knowing Freddy Kruger's shoe size or which type ...

HEARTLESS commerical suicide - before showing the film send on the producer who is on an emotional trip... speaking as if he'd made it to give his own personal review of 'redefing the horror film' to a bunch of die-hard horror fans. Madness. I personally enjoyed the film enough but it was nothing ne...
