Great night in London, definitely the best all nighter line up I've been to! SOULMATE - good to see a Frightfest goer making a film, and well acted, but I thought this stretched a simple idea too far and would have been better as a short; too many long dragged out scenes the girl talking to the ghos...

We seem to be on broadly the same page Aylmer, though I am with Richard on the I Spit on Your Grave remake - no matter the production value the story is low rent for me - I never got that it was a female revenge movie, its a film for guys and a pretty distasteful and pointless one IMO. I thought the level of people using phones was greatly reduced this year and personally I would thank everyone for that. It has improved dramatically over the last couple of years. . Agree, I remember in 2009 I had to sit next to some knob who was constantly texting on his phone throughout the film...

I missed on so many films this year because i wanted to catch the late film and not have to get up at 7-8 to get my discover tickets. Wasn't really a typical FF film, and could have understanably thought of as a bit out of place, but I thought this was good, and was especillay interesting if you've read the book. It preserved the tone of the book very well, with the dusty small town feel, and the characters of Odd and Stormy were ...

dull Carrie rip off. I never really knew whether Niamh was innocent and couldn't control her destructive power, or was just being evil with it....but that's probably cos I found it so dull I wasn't really following it 4/10
