What is attracting people to the gorezone lineup? I am confused. I'm going to buy a ticket for Gorezone on the Sunday because I want to see Offspring. I've read the book by Jack Ketchum, really liked it (though not as good as Off Season) and want to see the film. Yeah, I'm going to see this too, fo...

Just finished Handling the Undead by John Ajvide Lindqvist and now diving into The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets' Nest, the third in the Millennium Trilogy. And occasionally dipping into Tennessee Williams' memoirs for a bit of light relief.

Whatever the programme I hope everyone has fun. I won't be there this year - the ICA seating nearly killed my leg last year - I ended up out of action for a week with bursitis!

Have a blast, kiddies!

Finally saw Doghouse yesterday and thought it was a lot of fun, really enjoyed it. I even remembered all the characters' names which is a first for me and got quite upset at certain points! Well done, Mr West - I look forward to your next offering!

Went to Murder One in Charing Cross Road this weekend as it may be the last chance for me to get there - it's closing at the end of January, although the staff are hoping to get a mail order service up and running. Such a shame these sorts of shops are just disappearing in the current economic clima...

My lovely husband got me Necromicon, a HUGE collection of HP Lovecraft's stories. I am snuggling up with that at night!

I think Mirrors should be on a comedy double-bill with the remake of The Wickerman.

btw - thanks to all of you who provided reactions on the day. We're currently editing them in assorted formats, and hoping we can create a piece strong enough to include on the DVD. I spoke to you before the film - I wish you'd found me after - I thought this was an awesome film! The more I've thou...

This was a beautiful film and, yes, I did cry too. My husband got the book signed and had it dedicated to me so that set me off again outside the cinema! I thought the two leads were amazing and I can't wait to read the book. My fave of the Fest.

I liked this one - did what it said on the tin. It finished the day off perfectly for me, particularly after Martyrs.

I really liked this film, the writing was good, the characters quite endearing and I cared about them, and their cell phones WORKED!

It had a sort of Shaun of the Dead vibe, mixing the comedy, horror and pathos well.
