I like the priests death in the original Omen. We like it even more after we discovered that the church is right near our house. We keep meaning to go and take "impaled" pictures. Also have to say the kicking of the tramp to death under the giant pretzel in Clockwork Orange is a fav, pure...

Borders on Oxford Street has a closing down sale. I managed to pick up a new hardback copy of 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' and a new paperback copy of 'Handling the Dead' for £1 each. Loads of other books as well :) I had a quick look today, and mainly picked up noisy kids books for my cousins...

Not gory, but I do hold a place in my heart for Shelley Winters death in The Poseidon Adventure, brilliantly hammy. Kurt Russell's in the remake is almost as good.

Just got back from watching Antichrist, and it seems that I am in the minority when I say that I really enjoyed it. Thought it was very powerful in places, but I will admit that it could do without the real sex 10 second shot at the start.
