Re: Film clash dissapointments.

I have a some decisions to make: Freehold* / Glass Coffin Sequence Break / Bad Match* Leatherface / Fanged Up* Double Date* / Replace Still/Born / Veronica* Leaning to the ones with an asterisk. In the case of Leatherface I can catch that on main release and may not see Fanged Up for a while for exa...

Re: Final Night Soiree - is there one?

We also have slotted in the pre-festival drinks on the Thursday afternoon from 2PM until 5PM there. The karaoke on Sunday evening is also back fro...

Re: Food

To be fair e are in the heart of London you will find something you like to eat no matter what your tastes are....there are countless options depending on what you want. I work not far from the venue and I walk down Tottenham Court Road with so many more options if you fancy a walk. In the immediacy...

Great burger, great fries, and great shakes/ice cream (obviously) in a variety of flavours.
I second this!

Re: Discovery Screen Tickets

Curious how the Discovery Screen ticketing works. If I apply and am successful for Discovery Screen tickets, will I need to print them out as with the pass? Or do I just get them on the day from the cinema? I don't have a printer, so just wondering if I should save printing out the festival pass if...

Re: Discovery screen 'nepotism'.

Wonderfully put Mal! And CRUEL SUMMER is a great example of a film to go in blind on. What a brutal one. Cheers i really had no idea what i was in store for...ended up needing a drink after it and this was first up! Go in blind on a few and take a chance on some....its what the festival does best

Re: Food

In addition to the above Wok to Walk just past leicester square station and also if you walk towards Shake Shack opposite is a shwarma place...they do a very good chicken shwarma. I usually end up at Five guys, Pret, the chippy opposite too

Re: Discovery screen 'nepotism'.

I think its a mix really. The horror world is a small one really and throughout frighfest we see familiar faces who get the chance to showcase what they do. Ben Wheatley is a good example of this and if he were to return now it would be huge. Like @scoutthehorizon says above there are only a few ret...

Re: Discovery Screen Tickets

Interested to see how this works out.
