Frostbite is a Swedish film (and not called Frostbitten as i earlier "miswrote", which is a piss poor Troma film- Long Live Troma!)
It has a very similar sense of comic timing and style of humour to Dead Snow.
Maybe i'm becoming a fan of Scandinavian humour, who'd have thunk it?

Can i suggest a real obscurity of European horror that fits your remitt to perfection !!!

I liked Angst, though it's a long time since I saw it and I don't think it's available on UK DVD.
What you can get (albeit cut a little) is DER FAN, which is somewhat unsettling.

just a note to say make sure you see the uncut version of "Angst". I saw it last 2 days ago and it's the best thing ive seen in ages.
