Neil Marshalls Centurion

Post by Grindhouse »

Finally its arrived on the web, after a tip off from notts pete, earlier today its here and it looks good,Michael Fassbender looks the part, could this be better than ridleys Robin Hood, which does suffer with the pairing of Scott & Crowe again and does feel like a gladiator reprisal to me.

but anyway my tickets mentally booked for this one already!

It looks good but it's not the sort of thing I would normally go and watch. However if it is a success and launches Neil Marshall onto big things then I will be happy as I think that both Dog Soldiers and The Descent rocked, even if The Descent scared the hell out of my other half :D

I'm with Kimblebee on this one - I loved Dog Soldiers and The Descent & although it it wasn't QUITE as good as those two, I had a great time with Doomsday & enjoy it more with each viewing !!
Marshalll is great at handling military mission/action stuff and I reckon Centruion will be a solid, tense and gritty action flick.

Along with Burke and Hare and The Wicker Tree, this is the film I'm most looking forward to this year (I'd also add The Scribbler if Jake West gets shooting in time).

Can't wait :)
I bet you think you know all about vampires ... believe me, you know f@*& all.

Great range of viewpoints on this topic,i cant wait to see this movie and if FF have a special event for it even better.
The poster could be better designed and i hope theres more marketing material to come for it,i feel it calls for a banner signing again.

Sorry, boys and girls, no April event, but you may want to keep an eye on your inbox over the next couple of days.

As a self confessed Marshall fanboy, I can't wait. Trailer looks badass. Cast is terrific, Fassbinder, West, Morrissey, get some. Not so sure about Noel Clark's cockney geezer accent though, I'm not sure that's entirely historically authentic.

No April event...?

Damn, I was banking on a special event for either Centurion or Black Death.

I'm def. gonna have to do Glasgow next year.

Bugger! Was hoping there be something in April to see the above films. Seems like there be something else happening. Be keeping a eye out.
