Babylon A.D. - Vin Diesel in futuristic nun-saving fantasy.

It's rubbish :( - Would have got Mirrors-style laughs if played at FF.

Here's why is apparently turned out so bad http://www.darkhorizons.com/news08/080825j.php

The only thing going for it were new tracks by the RZA & Shavo (from Wu-Tang and System of a Down)

Wanted
complete escapist nonsense for office workers but super stylish and soo much fun, i was put off this because of mrs pitt,i have yet to see her act in anything of substance other than teenage boys masturbatory fantasy flicks, still good to see James Mcavoy hold it together, and its gun porn for gun freaks along with shoot em up,its a double bill of the highest calibre :D

The mutant chronicles
shh im not supposed to see this,so dont ask where it came from and i wont tell
the trailer was shown at FF and its as good as the trailer, its very much like sky captain, with retro technology and modern sci-fi elements, meets 1984 except theres violence lots of it,mad bad mutants taking over whats left of the earth corporations have been fighting over for a long time.
a great cast,Thom Jane,Sean Pertwee,Ron Perlman, and others all star in a film thats really worth checking out, when it comes to the cinemas.
im posting this as there is a nasty thread on imdb completely knocking this flick, but in my humble opinion its an entertaining film, worthy of paying for, i will see it on the big screen.
"any last words"
"shut the f*** up" from the mouth of thomas jane :D

Hellboy 2, second attempt after stupidly trying to watch it on the Tuesday afternoon after FrightFest which meant I slept through the thing. Obviously it's great and has been well discussed. However how can you not love a film that references Alan Moore, Miyazaki and John Woo in the same scene (the fight with the forest elemental). Del Toro is the perfect choice for The Hobbit.

Then stumbled across Hardware on ZoneHorror! Haven't seen this in years and forced the wife to watch it. Thankfully it's still great. Such a shame that Richard Stanley disappeared after the Dr Moreau debacle. Imdb has his name attached to a couple of new projects, including a Donald Cammell script, fingers crossed.

I'm only 24! And I do have a tendancy to see "classics" really late. It took me until last year to see the Star Wars trilogy. My boyf has been trying to educate me on films for the past 7 years and I am slowly coming up to speed. I did love the young Kevin Bacon in Friday 13th!

If you want to suggest anything else I should see I would be grateful!

But the important thing is, what did you think of them, seeing them now for the first time? :)

She's already seen that. I've not really started Doris on the Stuart Gordon yet, although she has seen re-animator at least once now :)

Society made me laugh! And I have seen the Re-Animator lot!

Hellraiser was okay, the Jesus Christ in the cupboard made me jump.
I kept covering my ears in Friday the 13th, its the music/sound that gets to me not the visual. Young Kevin Bacon though!!!

Most of those are on the list :) Which Halloween though?

From Beyond is one of my favorite movies, so I'm going to save that 'un.
