Online booking seemed okay till we hit the personal details screen, then no button to 'agree'/proceed. Grrrr.

The usual terror as the seat selected is snapped up by someone else a couple of times, but thankfully I now have my pass. N20.

Likewise, about 5 seats were selected before I finally got a full pass.

All it means is more people will have to cope with my 'question of etiquette - ass or crotch' as a move down the aisle to my seat.

Booked online for the first time this year, always Sleepy-Q'd before.

Thoroughly unpleasant experience. Phone staff unhelpful, website slow to updated (unless of course it's someone booking the seats you've requested - then it's superfast). And then you're left with a startlingly poor selection of available seats.

If only we all lived in London....

In my case even if I lived in London I wouldn't be able to survive the physical demands of the Sleepy Queue. I am now in posession of pass and accommodation so it's all happening. See you in the square.

I'm glad that I have tickets, and am looking forward to a great selection of films.

But I think the customer service is utterly appalling, and frankly I've paid £320 for two terrible seats.

Because of health issues, my other half is more comfortable with an aisle seat. But due to the fact that I couldn't request a seat from the idiotic telephone staff (who insisted the system wouldn't be open for another hour) and that the online floorplan doesn't show all seats (only the blocks currently available) I am left with two - non-refundable - middle of the row tickets.

It's a lot of money to pay for something you're not happy with.

Just tried for an hour with three different cards, all were declined. Haven't managed to get seats.

Tried calling but they just said to try again in half an hour...

I've just refrained from buying any type of ticket because I can't get an aisle seat with either the festival pass or the day tickets. My preference is up at the back away from the crowds because I'm usually on my own and am a bit shy, not to mention a fidget, so not the best person to sit next to! Last year, they released some more passes and I got a seat I was happy with, so I'm hoping that will happen again this year.

TBH, I don't understand why they don't let us just pick the seat we want from the whole cinema so we're all happy. But I guess this is a question of the ticketing software not being able to handle it ...

Oh well, fingers crossed I get a pass later, otherwise I'll be single-ticketing it and cherry-picking the films I really want to see ...
