I've been watching some most insightful interviews and discussion panels with Richard Dawkins...

I've been trawling through the back episodes of Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe. Excellent, absolutely right, and often painfully funny. Plus he uses a lot of horror movie scores: The Fog, Halloween and The Thing are regulars (someone on the team's obviously a John Carpenter fan), and a piece in Series 2 about aspirational TV (so funny I had to watch it twice) is backed by music from Saw!

The latest edition on BBC3 features a nice piece by Matt Berry about the late Ronnie Hazlehurst.

Easily my favourite Youtube clip:

The MANtage

I read a few years ago that Barats and Bereta had been opted by TV to write some shows, but I haven't seen any evidence of it as of yet.

I have been building up a library of trailers for films I want to see/buy. That way I don't lose track of what is recently out that I want to see.

The alledged "Alien at the window" footage:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QG0q0EpRpA

Although that's apperently a reconstruction, the real footage is being saved for a documentary!

hehe, it doesn't look remotely realistic - although not having a basis for comparison I'm not sure how anyone would know what to look for in terms of genuineness..
