Wow. There I was, toying with paying £79 on amazon and thinking that was a bargain. Thanks for the alert - will go to HMV Milton Keynes tomorrow.lupogirl wrote:Got the shiny quite glossy Hammer Films Box set at £40.00! At the HMV sale. So I am a happy bunny

I now have the Hammer box. Very nice. We need another one now with all the ones they (presumably) didn't have the rights to this time.
And am I the only one who's shuffled the inner boxes around to invert the cross?

Well I am the unfortunate sod who can't get the damn thing to play. Keep freezing at the same spot( after the DVD Copying warning) for each of the films. Grrr. After two boxset attempts got a refund!streetrw wrote:I now have the Hammer box. Very nice. We need another one now with all the ones they (presumably) didn't have the rights to this time.

I picked up a few cheap DVDs when in Toronto, got Disturbia, Black Snake Moan and Turistas (Paradise Lost) all for $10 each.
Also finally tracked down an Australian DVD release of P after bumping into director Paul Spurrier at this year's FF brandishing his very own copy!
