It's been a really quiet couple of weeks for new releases, this week I only got:

Let Me In
Jackass 3

but at least the latter is in spectacular flying turd and dildo 3D!
next week it gets better with:

Machette
Skyline
The Kids are Alright
London Boulevard
Husk
Hydra
Arriverderci Millwall
Jack Falls

I've just placed my order for April and that's when it really gets good; Monsters, Hatchet 2, American, Tourist, Little Fockers, Tron, Harry Potter 7, Narnia, Enter the Void, Pack, Zombie Nation, Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, and many more- hell of a month!
I've come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum

Picked up The Loved Ones for £2.50 in the charity shop today. Missed it at FF last year so now I can catch up at my leisure!
OMG totally jealous! I must start scouring the chazzer shops for bargains like that! That was my number one at summer frightfest camp! Was annoyed that despite stocking practically Danny Dyer's entire 'repertoire' of films, there was no Loved Ones to be found at Blockbuster after release. Booooo Blockbuster.

Blockbuster lost it years ago when they changed to DVD and got onto the Internet way too late. My opinion but give it 5 years and they will disappear

I'm not convinced that it will last as long as five more years - it's often cheaper or not much more to buy the same DVD in one of the supermarkets new than it is to rent there.

I don't buy DVDs any more except as presents - LoveFilm keeps me plenty busy!

It's all about charity shops. Got pans labyrinth, demons 2 and daughters of darkness yesterday in a charity shop.

Now you've just got to find the time to watch them. How many will you fit in before the FEST? I do like number 16.

So far this year I've watched about 220 movies, so it should be no problem :)

A Company of Wolves is a great choice. Incidentally, have you ever read Carter's "The Passion of New Eve"? It's an apocalyptic novel with gender themes and it is totally fab, IMHO. I would love to see that made into a film.

My new week's films arrived a couple of days ago including True Grit, Paul, Hereafter and the surprisingly entertaining Sanctum.

But both the Zombie films I was expecting, Eaters: Rise of the Dead and Ninjas vs. Zombies have been delayed.

Gutted! If I go a week or so without watching (and being disappointed by) a new zombie flick, I get the DTs.

Guess I'm gonna have to sweat it out.
