lol

it sh1t me up, alone in the dark in my house... surround sound popping.

I love it, but it's just my kind of thing....like the other silent hill games and the old style resident evil... lots of papping my pants, running about cause I dont have enough ammo and I'm too poo to kill stuff with my axe!

The neighbours must woinder what the hell I'm doing half the time I'm always shrieking.
Thanks for the ride, sir.

I havent had much time to play it to be honest, got some family issues going on at the moment. But I liked what I played. Get it when it's cheap if you are not sure - it gets thumbs up from me, but I like horror games.

As resident evil 5 comes out next week and will be taking up all my game time i think i'll take your advice and wait for it to appear in the bargain bin!!

I hope you sort your issues soon.

I shall be leaving Resident Evil 5 well alone thanks to Capcom's attitude when the refusal to update the gameplay since the early 90s was challenged - "for an average person it's difficult to shoot accurately while running"

Except you never play an average person. You play a supposedly highly trained character with in-depth weapons training. That will have included the ability to walk and even jog while taking accurate shots. In fact, much basic training will include walking while shooting... but no, you have to stop, draw the gun, re-aim as the defaults are either at your feet or way above the zombies' heads... way to ruin the immersion you're trying so hard for, guys. It's not difficult to sort, Nocturne managed it 10 years ago...

So, er, yeah, I'll be waiting for Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena...

In the meantime NecroVision (awful title) has been released for fans of the Painkiller franchise and Cryostatis looks interesting but apparently has major issues with certain hardware, so won't be checking that out until post-patch at least!
