Darkfall Series and Scratches are great game, not tried Barrow hill. Also to anyone interested in point and click I'd highly recommend Still Life/Still Life 2.

Has anybody else been extremely disappointed by the decidedly less than epic return of Duke Nukem?

I actually got a little bit excited about 'the most long anticipated game in the history of the industry' and pre-ordered the 40 quid bastard expecting lost of fast paced, politically incorrect, childish fun- but I've mostly just been staring at epic loading screens.

Hail to the King my arse.

The Demo was simply terrible, on maxed settings it looks about 6 years old, the gameplay was repetitive and the one liners got old.

It's true, for a game so long in development from such a major franchise, it felt like a Playstation 2 game in terms of graphics and slowdown. I could have forgiven this if it delivered the old school fun of something like Serious Sam, but sadly the Duke has joined the "I can only carry two guns at a time" club and wastes far too much time on tedious puzzles and platforming sections. There are still some giggles to be had, shrinking is fun... for the first five minutes.

I'm looking for something as addictive as Borderlands, an epic atmospheric sandbox FPS (on xbox 360) with lots of big guns and no shortage of baddies to use them on.

Any recommendations?

My Barrow Hill arrived, hope I got the right one, it's 'Curse of the Ancient Circle'. That came quick!

Edit - the disk doesn't work, no wonder it came so quick it's a pile of shit :)

Was it a CD Rom as apposed to a DVD Rom? I'm not even sure if Windows Vista/7 even run CD Roms anymore(?).

Steam Sale raping my wallet, I grabbed the Penumbra Series, F.E.A.R. Collection, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, Cold Fear and the original Doom games.

Also if anyone happens to be a PC gamer here and fancies some Left 4 Dead 2 than do tell! Be a pleasure fragging some undead at your side! :D
