I enjoyed this a lot - way nastier than I'd expected. Most "video nasties" weren't a fraction as bloody as this. And it managed to shine when it screened just after the agreeable excesses of the last half of Storm Warning.

It's odd that something as entertaining and cheerful as this gets shunted off onto DVD whereas a humourless, overblown and not very good movie like 1408 gets the national cinema release.
