It made me uncomfortable as I see a lot of myself in Mason, or a lot of Mason in myself. I don't like feeling that the movie is actually about someone like me. But there's always the idea that a nice girl will see through the strange-looking weirdo on the surface and be actually interested in the weirdo underneath. :)

Despite the discomfort, I liked Spiral a lot, and the more I think about the better I feel about it. It's very well structured; the reveals in the final reel are beautifully timed; the clues well hidden and yet in plain view. I think I will have to see this again.
