Also, for more info on the film, and to help spread the word, become a fan on Facebook.

So glad to hear so many people really appreciated this film (and to those who weren't dazzled - no worries, no film is to everyone's taste). Hopefully M&D proves to be just a part of a whole new resurgence in UK and Ireland genre filmmaking.

Mum & Dad, Eden Lake, The Disappeared, The Dead Outside, Freakdog, The Broken, He Dies at the End, Horrorshow - all in all a good show at this year's FF for home-grown product...

btw - thanks to all of you who provided reactions on the day. We're currently editing them in assorted formats, and hoping we can create a piece strong enough to include on the DVD.
I spoke to you before the film - I wish you'd found me after - I thought this was an awesome film! The more I've thought about it the more I've liked it and I would watch this again soon. I adored Mum - she was acted beautifully.

A man in his early twenties last night collapsed at the screening of the hotly anticipated film Mum & Dad at the Dublin Horrorthon festival...

Are you going to be using Mr O's suggestion for the posters?

He was dead impressed that you liked it.

oops - we're a bit premature on this..

The Frightfest film will no longer be on the DVD, as we're extracting the Q&A and Interview with Steven Sheil as separate extras.

Full list of extras will actually be;

- Director and Producer Commentary
- Through a Vulture Eye - Short film by Steven Sheil
- 'Behind-the-Scenes' footage
- Cast & Crew Q&A from Film4 FrightFest 2008
- Interview with Steven Sheil
- On-set interviews with Perry Benson, Director, Producer, Cinematographer, SFX Supervisor, Sound Recordist, Make-Up Designer and Production Designer
- Theatrical Trailer...

I will post the 'Mum & Dad Goes to Frightfest' clip on here so that you can all see, as there are one or two of you featured in the 'reactions' section...

Also - we're still working on the artwork, so the packshot on Play is not the final sleeve.

And here's our initial cut of 'Mum & Dad Visit FrightFest'...

It's a 40mb MOV clip running to about 7 mins, although ignore the incomplete end cards...
