Really good fun and witty script.

Give me rubber monsters over CGI any day!

Fun, and a great turn from Englund... but a bit too thin.

Skipped this one, couldn't face anything after Martyrs and it looked pretty standard from the trailer. It's getting quite a lot of coverage so I will check it out on DVD. This and Autopsy are really failing to set the forum alight aren't they.

Was determined to see this after Martyrs and it paid off.
Low maintenance, low demand FUN.

Evil Muppets have been fumbled by no less a "talent" than Peter Jackson, so this was a triumph ! That chap who played Jack Brooks could be the new Bruce Campbell if he plays his cards right.

It was what was needed. Perhaps took a bit of time to get going, but it's always good to see Robert Englund in more than a one-scene cameo (cough Hatchet cough) and it shows up the superiority of endearingly cheesy physical monster effects rather than twenty billion pixels of sleek and shiny CGI. Very enjoyable.

Meh, took a bit too long to get going, spent far too long on Jack's anger management issues, and he only actually became a monster slayer in the last 10 minutes or so.

Once Robert Englund became that monster and Jack was fighting him, we were in B-movie heaven, but it had dragged a bit up to then. This was a welcome fun film after Martyrs, but it just felt a bit like an elongated episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Fun, but was expecting it to be better

6/10

I did think that Jack needed to work on his quipping. You can't slay beasts without cracking wise every now and then.

Forgot to mention the score by Ryan Shore - there is a CD coming soon, I believe, though I think it's a limited pressing.

I loved this one! Jack reminded me of Adam Sandler (happy gilmore) and thought it was really funny. I will definately own this movie and watch it for fun.

Waaaaaay too short...we need more!!!

Loved it, the perfect pick-me-up after a pretty depressing day. Had all the ingredients of a classic...just way too short.

Fingers crossed for the sequel, it certaily has the potential.

I agree, but they probably just did the best they could with the budget. In the end it was good fun. Let's say 6.5/10

was MEGA dissappointed in this!! Was expecting it to be chessy, but funny and cool at the same time. It failed.

I tried to like this, I really did and i chuckled here and there but on a whole this was "blah" film for me.

shame :(

I liked this one - did what it said on the tin. It finished the day off perfectly for me, particularly after Martyrs.
