It wasn't really 'horror' was it? I fell asleep- enough said!
"When you look at your life in a strange new room, almost drowning soon, is this the start of it all?"

I nodded off but that was just as much due to it being too warm!!
Hard to give an opinion on this as it's not normally my type of film. But I give most things a try and found a well written and visually stunning film. But like Lord Of The Rings is visually stunning, because it' snot my thing I wouldn't revisit it but I would recommend it to people who like that sort of thing.
I can't say anything bad about it to be fair

Totally agree with Krispy, not exactly my cup of tea normally but it didn't do anything wrong. Nonsense action and it had a Tron bear in it.
would maybe throw that type of film on if i had mates over(ok our 2 friends loved this, one wishes he was a viking) and wasn't too bothered about talking over.
strange accents, silly shields game, fairly far stretched but still enjoyable

Hmm.
Weeeeellll.
The prince guy was like a pooer copy of that gorgeous bloke from Rohan in the two towers... the village was Rohan crossed with Beowulf village, and I was expecting the Rohan music all the time.
The monster was fabulous, the only thing was I felt really sorry for it and sympathetic towards it so didn't actually want it to get killed so that was a bit of a problem for me.
Some great visuals and good fun, if rather ponderous in places.

Most people KNOW that animals getting killded in films just makes me lose a little piece of my soul every time it happens… so when the story of the creature is explained and it was as if my soul had been sliced into little bits… Wahhhhhhhh
Liked it but it didn’t have as much action as I was expecting it was like Starship Troopers: Old School
