Ok, so maybe it wasn't much of a surprise, but I loved the fact that Ian, Paul, and Alan carried it as one until the very last moment!

As a big 'Gavin and Stacey' fan I was very excited to see the boys in this one! Matt and James's characters didn't stray too far from the Gavin and Smithy we all know and love, which was a relief, and there were enough giggles throughout to make it a success! While perhaps not in the same league as 'Shaun of the Dead', it was an original idea that was wittily written, with a great cast, and direction that made it feel like a live action Scooby Doo (meant as a compliment!)

It was great to have most of the cast for the Q&A afterwards too, much to the delight of the male members of the audience, I'm sure! All in all, an enjoyable film that I will no doubt be coersing my fellow G&S fans to see when it opens!
