Just saw the trailer for Doghous - looks fantastic! A bit like what Lesbian Vampire Killers was trying to be (but it never quite got there), and looks like it should have the same sense of humour as Severance and Shaun of the Dead - which makes it a winner in my books, can't wait to finally see it! :-)

New Doghouse poster

Post by Notts Pete »

The days just aren't going quickly enough for this one to open.

Really thought it would've been perfect for a little FF event, ah well :(

In the meantime, the ever-dependable M J Simpson has a great-looking new 'Grindhouse' style UK Quad for it over in his Wild Wild West section.

Which reminds me; Grindy, I'm putting my order in now - you've gotta get me one of these ... pleeease? :)

Looks like this one is getting the same shitty distribution that befell Outlander, Hatchet, Ruins, P2 etc etc

According to the Doghouse website, it's opening at ninety cinemas, but the only one in the West End is the 60-seat Odeon Leicester Square Mezzanine shoebox 3, one show per day. And for that you pay £10.50!!!!! I'll probably catch it at Milton Keynes next week for nothing (along with Night at the Museum 2 which I still haven't got round to inflicting upon myself yet).

Thanks Richard.

Just had one last check before laying down my chainsaw for the night and it does indeed seem we are getting Doghouse. And Last House. And Red Cliff. Blimey.
Like I was saying, you can't beat these fantastic cinemas here in the Heart of the Midlands

(we still never got Outlander though)

The showcase Peterborough and Parkway cinema Cleethorpes are my nearest, though after travelling across the wolds to get there to see Outlander, that never arrived,i wont be going there.
Leicester isnt far either so got a reasonable choice of cinemas within an hours driving distance.
will check some other smaller cinemas in my county though parkway is one of them.
a double bill of doghouse and last house at the showcase could be in order.

Odeon Kingston is showing it 4 times a day from this weekend... So I'm sorted lol
I would rather be hated every damn day of my life for being real than loved for being something I'm not...
