The FrightFest ICA all-nighter

Relive the horror of Frightfest 2009

Postby pauluspink » Thu Oct 01, 2009 12:46 am

I'm surprised no one has come forward and explained there is a delay. :?

Maybe last minute additions to the line up?

Well, seem like there's a general case of 'delayism' going round at FF right now: nothing on the All-nighter, no card for the 19th from T.O., no further cards from Austin after the 27th... I don't feel loved anymore

and not being loved makes me maaaaaaaaad! *starts up the chainsaw*

no cards are usually down to drink related incidents.

The guys are probably in the midst of their return journeys also. The September 30th announcement was an ICA promise not a FF one i think, despite the promise of a newsletter at the end of September  .

Yeah you never know they're prolly working hard to secure the films they've just seen over there, still trying to wheel and deal... Paranormal Activity might have been round for a while but it's only now the studio are peddling it to the festival circuit so maybe they're a bit sceptical about showing it to a small audience...

... Paul's prolly buying them pints right now

Okay, that's it! If somebody is going to die, it's not my fault! I've done everything I can to keep my calm and wait for the program... but nooooo, somebody is mean and doesn't give us the details.

HA!

*aims plastic spoon at other slaves shuffling around*

Prepare to suffer!

Okay... nobody reacting to that? Nobody willing to be kind and humane and save other human beings from horrible attacks? All you need to do is post the program?!

That's just sad... :(

Suspiria has been noted as a modern take and twisted version of Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which Argento has stated is the main color scheme influence.

LINK

Argento had cinematographer Luciano Tovoli watch Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) to have him model the color scheme of that film for Suspiria.

See I picked up on the colour scheme but I was trying to figure out where the dwarves fitted in :D

Scary film though, terrified me as a kid just like Return to Oz Did... Urgh Mombi!
