Oops, I mean .. most anticipated movies! :wink:

Are as follows;

1) Hatchet II
2) I Spit on your Grave
3) F
4) A Serbian Film
5) Monsters
This is probably my top 5 too, was REALLY looking forward to The Last Exorcism until it got a PG-13, still I'll give it the benefit of the doubt as most reviews I checked out said it was a decent film!

I have finally looked over the line up and the following are the ones I cant wait to see

1. Monsters
2. A Serbian Film
3. Red, White and Blue
4. The Loved Ones
5. Dream Home

And also think Burning Bright aka 'Woman trying to avoid being killed by a tiger in her house' seems so outrageous it just has to be seen!

For me these have gotta be my picks....

1.Amer
2.Kaboom
3.Dream home
4.Monsters
5.Christopher Roth
6.A Serbian Film

Although I would like a proper supernatural / Haunting style film but they do seem to be a little thin on the ground...perhaps....

I'm avoiding trailers and reading up on the films as much as possible, so I can go in with an open mind. So, judging purely on what I've read on the FF website/forum, the 5 films I'm most looking forward to are:

1. Hatchet 2
2. Monsters
3. A Serbian Film
4. Wound
5. The Dead

Also getting excited about seeing Amer, Burning Bright, F, and all the Asian films - I can't resist them!

I'm also adding 'We Are What We Are' to my list, as I heard some pretty positive things from Cannes.

Not sure if I like the title though.
I have a trailer and everything;

For me I think its:

Monsters
Dream Home
Bedevilled
Primal
F
Kaboom
Burning Bright (even though I may not get to see it)

But as usual after the festival that list will probably change!
Thanks for the ride, sir.

In order, top to bottom:

1. The Dead
2. Hatchet 2
3. Burning Bright
4. I Spit on your Grave
5. Red White and Blue

and then Texas Chainsaw, just to see it on the big screen.

That was a harder list to put together than I expected it to be. It really is a good lineup, isn't it? Close runners up were I suppose "A Serbian Film" and "Dream Home" (Just to see just how a film can be a cross between Friday 13th and Location, Location, Location!)

Just out of interest (and because I had a spare 5 mins and am a but sad), I've just added up the mentions to see what's leading in 'most looking forward to' stakes. Interestingly there have been 27 films mentioned in total - a true testament to a wide-range of the selection covering everyone's tastes. So in terms of mentions in descending order;

13 Mentions;
A Serbian Film

12 Mentions;
Monsters

9 Mentions;
Hatchet 2

8 Mentions;
Red, White and Blue and I Spit on Your Grave

7 Mentions;
Kaboom

6 Mentions;
Burning Bright

5 Mentions;
F and Dream Home

4 Mentions;
We Are What We Are and The Dead

3 Mentions;
The Loved Ones, Cherry Tree Lane, The Pack, Amer, Christopher Roth, The Last Exorcism and Primal

2 Mentions;
Isle of Dogs and Texas Chain Saw Massacre

1 Mention;
Finale, Eggshells, Fanboys, Red Hill, The Tortured, Wound and Bedevilled
It's horrible... I love it... What is it?

HATCHET 2
RED HILL
THE LOVED ONES
MONSTERS
CHRISTOPHER ROTH

Oh, and the short films... I still haven't found one that makes me jump as much as He Dies At The End from FF08 :D
