the fabulous return of Davetwo13's music

Post by Team Banzai »

just a note to announce the great news that the uber talented Davetwo13 will be supplying the soundtrack to this years FrightFest event.

i'm sure that he will have produced a handful of ultra limited edition copies of the CD for your delight over the weekend... grab him while he's got 'em.

can't wait to hear it myself and of course it will be played in the breaks between films over the FF weekend.. a warm "thank you" from all of us Dave.

I'll say! I've been listening to your Escape From New York cover on repeat for the past hour - it's bloody brilliant. (Is it blasphemy to say I prefer it to the original?)

Yes, probably blasphemous, but true! After listening to your version for a while, I went back and listened to the original... and discovered I wasn't enjoying it nearly as much as yours! You've given it a bit more punch, or something. It really is great.

I look forward to hearing more of your tracks in between the films this weekend!

Yet another annoying thing about not attending this year, no new CD of Dave's music to listen to.

And yeah, the Escape... theme cover is great, though I always prefered the theme from Assault on Precinct 13 myself.
