Alvin and the Chipmunks and a Tiger! What a genius sequel concept...

So we stopped it to fix the sound, then started again.

Pretty good, considering the difficulties of filming this subject on a low budget. CGI could have been blended in a bit better in a couple of places, though (the usual problem of different lighting on the foreground and background). Well paced, and well acted from the key younger parts.

7/10

Plus she's quite nice eh?

From the sounds of it Burning Bright should have replaced what you've seen on the main screen so far.

It's okay. It's not great, but it passes the time and is quite efficiently done.

When I read about the plot on IMDB I decided to watch it just because of the utter hilarity it promised.
I was quite surprised though, to see a well done thriller!
Yes, there were logical faults in the story, mainly of why a bar like this would be busy like that at 5 in the morning and problems with the light as well as the motivation of the dad (buy a tiger, let it eat "your" kids in boarded up house, really?) but the actors were cool (jeeez, I would have KILLED that fucking brat) and the shots very well done. That scene in the clothing chute, pure joy :) Also mad props for not using a fucking CGI tiger (take a look at Red Hill to see how this can fuck your movie)!
7/10 (would watch again)
