I have to go with Red, White and Blue. The final 20min were very intense, and the scene where Noah Taylor's character stabs the little girl has to be the most harrowing scene of all the films shown!

Monday was the strongest day for me.

Everything on screen 1 was amazing, especially the first 4.

Moral Panic Censorship & Videotape was great. The Dead had me squirming around in my seat throughout. Bedevilled was surprising and excellent, and Red White & Blue blew me away.

A great day!

Agreed!

I'd go further to say the whole film was very intense.

I loved that you just didn't know what was going to happen next, right until it ended.

All the films were good on Monday, with the exception of The Last Exorcism, which was a let down.

Bedevilled was definitely my favourite of the day, love it.

I liked The Last Exorcism but for me The Dead was the best in the line up, in fact the best of the fest!!!! Given the way Zombie movies have recently gone, it was great to see a film which has great scenery, some proper acting rather then pure corny one liners and the best zombie makeup i have ever seen!!! Thank you for finally giving us what we wanted!

I think The Dead had something none of the other films had, it was a real approach with emotion and some great special effects and the beautiful locations were just the best, simply breathtaking, it was a beautiful horror!

The Last Exorcism had the corniness you would expect but was watchable, The Dead beat the rest hands down and having seen nearly all the films at the fest this one was the best by far, incredible vistas, the best zombies i have seen on screen, was watching days of darkness last night and it just shows how far ahead of the game The Dead is, brilliant film, beautiful film, EXCELLENT!!!

Whats the deal with all these new forumites with 1 post saying The Dead was the best thing since sliced bread? There is one on here and a couple on the actual The Dead thread. My suspiscion's are on high alert!
Thanks for the ride, sir.

The best day of the fest for me, really not sure which to go for, but The Last Exorcism just pips Video Nasties.
No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering.

The Dead was one of the best zombie films I've seen in a long, long time, but the Videonasties documentary was simply so important it made last year's fest for me, and permanently changed my outlook and attitude to censorship, a life changing history lesson that was also great fun to watch. (shame I can't convince my customers to rent or buy the hundreds of Nasties I bought in as a direct result- philistines)
