What did everyone think of the short film showcase?
I personally thought there was some brilliant stuff in there, my favourites being Demonitron: the 6th dimension, Banana Motherfucker, and Brutal Relax!

Thankfully they weren't all as bad as opener 'Alistair'!
Brutal Relax easily beat Banana MF in the battle of the comedy splatters. Banana got tiresome real quick in my opinion.
Otherwise, thumbs up for Bats in the Belfrey, Little Munchkin and Demonitron.

Only saw a few of the shorts as I was outside enjoying conversation. Was Demonitron the pseudo-Fulci fake trailer? I rather enjoyed that one. Banana ************ was fun but silly and too long. Brutal Relax was amusing but flogged its ultragore to death quite quickly. And I only caught the end of the Western-styled cartoon.

It was certainly overshadowed by Brutal Relax, that was hilarious!

Very good line-up of shorts this year I thought, as it has been the last few years. The shorts seem to get better as the main film line-up has been a bit underwhelming.

As usual, there were maybe a couple too many - "short fatigue" starts to set in eventually.

Demonitron was awesome - how many fulci films can you fit into 4 minutes.

Think banana motherfucker suffered from coming after brutal relax which was great - special effects were really really good.

I thought they were not as strong as last years, which were really great. Still some very entertaining pieces though, and I agree Brutal Relax was great fun.

The Last Post was the one that stood out to me, a little creepy at the beginning and really heart warming at the end. Perfect.
