Sawney Review
Sawney Review
I wanted to see "Sawney: Flesh of Man" back at the August event, but couldn't accommodate it due to the main screen options, so I'm glad I have now had the change to see it on the big screen. The film features a fair amount of gore and some interesting characters, while the Sawney legend serves as a good backdrop to make this one of the better examples of this well-worn subgenre. I shall look forward to the prequel to see if the same team can repeat the trick. 7.5 / 10
No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering.
Re: Sawney Review
Coming from Girvan, close to the location of Sawney Beans cave.
I was not sure what to expect and for a SCOTTISH film it looked really good. Not exactly origonal but had it's moments.
Oh yeah, Sawny Bean is a smugglers myth to keep people away from the cave (a long, long time ago !!)

I expected this to be guff but actually thought it was OK-ish considering the low budget. 3/5
