Lords Of Salem Review

"Lords of Salem" is a divisive film and I still can't entirely make up my mind on this one. It is probably best described as a total "headf***" of a movie, with a mixture of flaws and unintended (?) silliness, but some really striking imagery which makes it a memorable experience. I enjoyed some of the extended scenes of foreboding and there was a certain pervasive "evilness" about the film that gives it some power. A tentative 8 / 10

I agree with what you're saying, and Sheri was much better than I expected, but it was too lacking in plot and too incoherent for me, I'd say 5/10. Def good for background visuals, first half was really pretty strong, just got too wanky and pointless for me after that.

Lords of salem was one of the weakest of this years line up.Sure it looked promising but then that music started and its just got tedious.
Intertesting to see Judy Geeson and Dee Wallace as two of the "modern witches".
Noted a lot of people walking out on this movie.
