sleepy queue
sleepy queue
Just a quick question, is the sleepy queue around the same time each year? It was the last Saturday in June this year, is it normally the last weekend?
Thanks in advance.

Wow, lots of forward planning going on for 2013!
Re: sleepy queue
Indeed lol plus, I've been asked to do the photography at a wedding on the 30th of June but if that's the same day as the sleepy queue I'll turn down the wedding.DJBenz wrote:Wow, lots of forward planning going on for 2013!

30th June 2013 is Sunday next year, so it would the 29th or maybe 6th July (beenthe 1st Saturday in July for a last few years)

Re: sleepy queue
I need to travel to the wedding so I'm not going to be able to do the sleepy queue with all my phorography gear and then travel for the wedding, I don't have a car so it would all be by train. If it's the 6th of July, I can't go either as I'll be at the London Film and Comic Con, I know it's in London but staying up all Friday night and then hanging around for most of Saturday to get the pass and then the free film means I'll miss the convention. I'm really hoping it's the last Saturday of June like this year so that I can go, I've told the bride I may not be able to do the wedding and she's fine with it.Wiltaim wrote:30th June 2013 is Sunday next year, so it would the 29th or maybe 6th July (beenthe 1st Saturday in July for a last few years)

Re: sleepy queue
Toilet situation - where does everybody deposit? And are people nice enough to hold your place while you go?

An Oasis (the fruity drink) bottle has a generously wide neck. Not for number twos though. hock:TheDukeAbides wrote:Toilet situation - where does everybody deposit? And are people nice enough to hold your place while you go?

Lol I got caught out last year, the McDonald's shuts at 3am I think and then re-opens at about 6am. Problem was that even though I went to the loo before McDonald's shut, I was busting to go an hour later and had to cross my legs for 2 hours lol. I have never be jealous of men in my whole life lolDJBenz wrote:An Oasis (the fruity drink) bottle has a generously wide neck. Re: sleepy queue
There are (or at least there were a couple of years ago) all-night bogs a short walk away in Covent Garden. It may be that the Leicester Square ones are 24-hour now; I wouldn't know for sure.

I'm really hoping that the toilets on Leicester Square will be open this time so that there shouldn't be any problems lolstreetrw wrote:There are (or at least there were a couple of years ago) all-night bogs a short walk away in Covent Garden.
