Hi Guys

This year will be my first Frightfest, me and a friend are staying over for the Saturday & Sunday night at HHH.

How easy is it to get individual tickets for the main screen? Can you only get in to see the bigger films with a weekend or atleast a day pass?

Cheers

Dave

Individual tickets are always on sale to the general public.

All films are just like normal screenings.

In fact you can see the bemusment in a 'normal' punters face when they are met with (a) real person(s) doing an introduction and the general 'different' atmosphere there is compared with your regualr cinema outing.

You can also see them struck with twattery when they arrive 20 mins late after expecting there to be the usual trailers/ads.

Quite how soon the 'big' films sell out (if they do) I couldn't tell you, it will obviously vary for each film.

Thanks for the info dude - ill keep them peeled for the date individual tickets go on sale and be sure to get in there early.

When I read that people queue overnight for weekend passes I thought it might be a struggle.

You'll be fine getting tickets for individual films. That's how I did Frightfest last year. If I recall I think they usually go on sale about a 10 days before the festival. I bought mine online, but even on the day most films had seats available.

Dave,

If you are in for a couple of days I would recommend that you get day passes. Apart form being cheaper than individual tickets, your ticket gets you an allocated seat in the main screen and if you so choose you can have tickets to the other screens on a first come first served bases.

Yes, if you buy a day pass on Sleepy Queue day you can see the film. It's a thank you to anyone who makes the effort to turn up at the cinema to get their tickets.

Ian.

From Twitter
Also @Empire_Cinemas have updated their ticket website so now when you select your seat it'll stay yours until you pay for it. #F4FF

HEY GUYZ

Any idea about what the prices will be for the weekend passes this year?

Last year I had a bit of an issue with my bank when buying three w/e passes: I had enough money in my account, but the bank wouldn't authorise the sale. They deemed it suspcious that I would be spending so much on a single transcation at a cinema.

I know that a few of us got stung that way, but this year I am going to prevent this by informing my bank beforehand, and was just wondering if there was a 'ballpark' figure I could give them.

THANKS!

All the info is in the first post of this thread. Weekend passes, day Passes, individual film ticket prices. :)

But yeah, £170 as Halloweengirl said.

How many films will be playing each day?

Thurday - 3 as per normal

What about the rest? I notice on the Empire booking page for each single day tickets they've put 7 films per day.

Seven is a bit ambitious (unless they start at 9am). Last year was a max of six if my maths is correct.
