In no particular order also:

The Last Days!!! (By far the worst, walked out of this one)
The Dead 2 (it was Ok until the opened their mouths)
Dark Tourist (grim and a bit obvious, plus it looked tacky)
Dark Touch (silly, although I wasn't bored)
For Elisa (had potential bu not anywhere near enough story to carry the premise. A bit thin. Stil, not terrible)

Everything else was good or great in my opinion. And I really don't get what everyone's beef with Dementamania is all about. I thought it was great (apart for the final five minutes and the revelation that he was mad, could have done without that for sure).

Thought this was really good actually and the only film I really hated was The Last Days. The others that I wasn't looking forward too (RIPD, HOTGs) I avoided.

1. Banshee Chapter (who needs sleeping pills when you've got this?)
2. Hatchet 3 (did the impossible and managed to be even worse than the first 2)
3. Dark Tourist (uninvolving, dragging and bland...this was no fun)
4. R.I.P.D. (a crappy half-arsed Men In Black rip off for 10 year olds at FF? No thanks....good to wank too though apparently!)
5. Missionary (starts off like Desperate Housewives, then turns into good-guy-turns-bad by numbers, destined for the £1 bargain bin!)

Also didn't like Dementamania (went absolutely no where), The Last Days (that ending, urgh!!!), Dark Touch (diet Carrie), and I missed I Spit 2 and Hammer Of Gods, so that's why they're not here.

Very good year for films apart from the above though.

Hmmm.

The Last Days. I wish I'd left it at The Conspiracy (silly as it was) and gone home then, rather than waiting for this. Angsty tosh with a bit of suspense thrown in. I didn't care for any of the characters, and didn't feel any fear or dread from the contagion because it wasn't given a decent enough explaination to make me care.
R.I.P.D. Just a terrible knock off of Men In Black, with Jeff Bridges showcasing his irritating True Grit character acting again. Maybe I'd have felt better about it if I hadn't had appalling stomach cramps and felt terrible.
Hammer of the Gods. So bad we walked out and went to check in to our hotel. In the binning-down rain. Which was a better option.
Dark Tourist. It's only going in there because I was bored to tears by Cudlitz on stage afterwards. He just wouldn't shut up, but didn't really say anything of note other than 'it's all in the script'. Helpful. The film felt all 'wrong' for FrightFest, too. I don't know - I just didn't like the majority of Sunday this year, it all felt so slow and plodding, especially when I look back on how excellent last year's Sunday programme was.
And lastly, not a film as such, but I didn't really like the short we got the facemasks for - Chuck Steele. I know it's much loved, but perhaps it's because I was feeling less than chipper (as with R.I.P.D), but I didn't really like it at all I'm afraid.

The Dead 2: India
Dementamania
Frankenstein's Army
Hammer of the Gods
I Spit On Your Grave 2

Skipped both Hatchet 3 and RIPD, otherwise they'd almost certainly make the list...

I didn't actually hate any of the films this year, so these are just the poor efforts, again in no order:

The Dead 2: India
Dementamania
Hammer of the Gods
Hansel & Gretel (get baked)
Dark Touch

Frankenstein's Army
Dark Touch
No One Lives
Dementamania
Odd Thomas

Didn't see any of the late night films or anything on the disco screens, as usual. But I can't imagine there was anything worse than Frankenstein's Army.

Did you watch Hammer of the Gods? Good lord. :| We had to escape after about 20 minutes because it was so tediously awful.

Oh yeah, and I expected the worst, but in fact it was watchable. Not particularly interesting, but watchable. And nice scenery.

Bottom 4 (enjoyed pretty much everything else I saw):

The Dead 2: India (terribly unoriginal)
V/H/S 2 (almost every segment was a zombie-movie variant!)
Haunter (the celluloid version of a corpse: totally lifeless)
Cannon Fodder (*terrible* CGI everywhere. Looked like a SNES game)

Personal favourite of festival: Snap. Absolutely AMAZING. Would love to have seen it in Screen 1.
