Of the films that were mentioned in the Cannes postcards, the ones I most want to see are:
Honeymoon, Alleluia, Incompresa, It Follows, The Tunnel 3D, Lost River and When Animals Dream. Also Nymph because it has Franco Nero vs. a killer mermaid.

When Animals Dream is certainly an interesting one - some positive notices... but Alan hated it!

LESSON OF THE EVIL
Takashi Miike's latest, ultraviolent and controversial would be a crowd favourite at FrightFest.
Lesson of Evil played Dead by Dawn back in the arse end of April so would be unlikely to appear.

What We Do in the Shadows just screened at the Stanley Film Festival

Directed by Jemaine Clement & Taika Waititi (Flight of the Conchords), it's a mockumentary following a bunch of Vampires who live together.

Shit the bed, it isn't very long until the line up is announced. Some titles on my 2014 wish list would be.

-Fabrice Du Welz double bill of Alleluia and Colt 45

-A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night.

-Among the Living

-Rec 4

-Monsters: Dark Continent

-Ex Machina

-Autómata

I think we will see most of these:

Among the Living
Canal, The
Cannibal
Honeymoon
In Darkness We Fall
Life After Beth
On the Edge
Wolf Cop
Green Inferno
Dead Snow 2
All Cheerleaders Die
Profane Exhibit
Zombeavers
Babadook
It Follows
Rigor Mortis

and maybe something to celebrate the 40the Anniversary of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

Even though it's not really Horror, A Walk Among the Tombstones looks like a film that would go down well at the frightfest.

Green Inferno is receiving its UK premiere at EIFF and the BBFC have its release date as 18th July, so it looks like that's out.

After seeing the poster I am looking forward to Dracula Untold? Anyone know if the film will be ready?
