How does the total number of festival passes compare to last year?

If we're not in the screen with the live Q&A, will we be able to pop into that screen at the time of the Q&A if we have a question?

Will the film schedule be available before 5 day passes go on sale> Based on the info that the main films will be available across the 3 main cinema screens but at different times, if it were made available we could balance discovery screen options based on timings of films etc?

In the past, the online booking process for the All-Nighter (via the VUE website) has been somewhat of a shambles with tickets not going on sale for many hours after they're supposed to and call centre staff knowing nothing about the tickets. Assuming the festival tickets will now be sold by the same system has anything been changed to ensure the same won't happen here?

According to the newsletter it's the three largest so 5, 7 and 9. Since only two of those have 3D capability, it would seem we're being spared the 3D films which I can't imagine many will be crying into their beer about.

Will Vue let me into each Screen so I can see which Screen I prefer come the Festival?

Will the Discovery Screens work on a similar rota so as to maximise chances of having an alternative to main screen?

Will one of the main screens be exclusively for weekend pass holders?

The Vue is actually a really great venue, great fun at the all nighters.

Only one question.

Will there be security checks upon entry to the screens like in the Vue Halloween All Nighter shows ?

While I do understand the need for some security, constant bag checks for five days might get a little tiresome ( and cause bunching up and queues )

Thank you.

Will the cool bar area that we use for the Halloween all-nighter be used for merchandise stands? I think this would be a good opportunity to expand this area - as a girl I'd be interested in seeing a bigger range of t-shirts for sale in ladies sizes, and even things like horror related bags.

Will Ian, Alan and Paul be based in one main screen or have one each? :D I like the opening night atmosphere of having all the organisers in one screen, but I think the other screens would maybe feel a bit flat without a live introduction.

According to this link, it will use five screens. http://www.frightfest.co.uk/newsletters ... festa.html

I guess that's the three largest for the main programme and two for discovery.

Where will the press / VIPs be allocated? All to the same screen, or spread around the place?

Not that I don't like the press / VIPs being there, but if anyone in past FrightFests have talked / emailed / phoned etc throughout films it's been that lot.

Will the quiz still be on, and if so how will it work, all diving into the biggest screen?

Reply-

We are looking at this. It is our intention to do so, but trying to make it work over three screens is taxing us. It may be that we turn it into a stand alone event in one of the discovery screens, we just do knee as yet. We will keep you posted.
