Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014
I still cannot get tickets online.
And on the phone, the first 40 spots on the queue took about a minute each.
I have now been stack between place 13 and place 9 for like 20 mins.
I am fuming !!!!

I wouldn't get too excited. I thought I had secured a seat, but the transaction was declined at the last minute. I'm willing to bet I lost that seat, and I still don't know if I'm been charged...
Absolute fecking disgrace....

On the third time the website showed me a seating plan (rather than just an error), it accepted payment. Confirmation email received.BristolHorror wrote:What exactly did you manage, and how?jonbly wrote:Victory!
So I've paid either £170, £340 or £510 and got one ticket.

I'm guessing it was for a single day pass?jonbly wrote:On the third time the website showed me a seating plan (rather than just an error), it accepted payment. Confirmation email received.BristolHorror wrote:What exactly did you manage, and how?jonbly wrote:Victory!

Nope, full festival.
(and as below, screen 7... though one of my partial successes was on 6. Both had only seats close to the screen, or on the sides - can't tell how bad those would be without seeing the screen).

Jonbly - I got a seat in screen 7, entered and submitted card details, only to get returned to the booking screen (after it had cleared by bank verification) saying that "... the transaction has been cancelled, but you may have been charged"!!! FFS!jonbly wrote:On the third time the website showed me a seating plan (rather than just an error), it accepted payment. Got no confirmation e-mail, so in likelihood I may have got sod-all and been charged for it!
Need to sort out the situation, whilst still trying to get a pass, which sounds like it may be impossible now!
NOT. HAPPY,

screen 7 working for me but only some crappy seats left and the same situation - i've been charge but no tickets
Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014
Tried to buy a ticket online - in one of the rubbish seats available
"There has been an error with your booking and you may have been charged"
This really is an epic omnishambles - waste of time and effort and, possibly, money.

I'd keep trying. I had what you describe twice, then got right through on the third one.Wulfster wrote:Jonbly - I got a seat in screen 7, entered and submitted card details, only to get returned to the booking screen (after it had cleared by bank verification) saying that "... the transaction has been cancelled, but you may have been charged"!!! NOT. HAPPY,
Problematic if you don't have space on the card for multiple purchases, or your bank gets cranky, though...

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014
I'm not gonna risk even booking TBH.
This is frustrating enough - waiting in a queue on Monday for an hour and a half to see if they've even given me a ticket for my money is really not worth it.
Really, really sad and disappointed.

Got to pick seats - cards declined (they all have sufficient funds).
A disgrace.
