Shockwave Darkside actually gave me a headache. Why makers of such a low budget film thought it was a good idea to spend limited resources on 3D is somewhat baffling

My vote goes to House of the Dead, closely followed by The Tesseract.

Merciful God, I'd forgotten House of the Dead (and Postal, and Seed...)

I know the bar was set pretty high to start with, but when somebody brings Uwe Boll into things I think it's safe to say the gloves are off.

House of the Dead was a bad film but I didn't think it was boring, there was something endearing about its stupidity. I've seen quite a few films at Frightfest which were far less watchable that that piece of zombie cornball.

First full FrightFest weekend, sadly missed out on Shock Wave Dark Side, but did manage to watch Altergeist, which was awful, but probably not in the same league as those above.

Altergeist for me was complete garbage. I felt embarrassed watching the film. It was so cringeworthy. Didn't see Shockwave Darkside though looking at the posts Im glad I didnt.

Isle of Dogs closely followed by Dementiamania...

Both felt like trust fund projects from spoilt pre A Level students (not that theres anything wrong with making a film while young and inexperienced... just dont play it at a big festival like that).... twatty rant over.

To be honest, I'd completely forgotten both of those until you mentioned them. I still didn't remember Isle of Dogs until I Googled it.

According to the IMDB that was supposed to have had an official UK release yesterday! (1st September). As I remember it, it was ok. Certainly better than Isle of Dogs anyhow. Which isn't saying much admittedly.

I managed to dodge the bullet that was Shockwave Darkside (surely the most talked about film at this years FrightFest) opted to see Preservation instead.

Here are now my top worst films seen at FrightFest of all time.

House of the Dead
Dead Meat
Day of the Dead 2: Contagium
Skinwalkers
Bubba's Chili Parlor
Dead Cert
Isle of Dogs
Bad Meat
Nymth
The Watermen

not 100% bad. Because of the comedy that came out of them.

Would make a great double feature. Test of strength.
