Fair point, well made: but still better than "Repo, the genetic opera"...

Have I really just watched that !?!
Not bad, more kills and less singing (before you slag me off I know it's a 'musical' !!) would have been nice

The endless references where quite funny (especially TCM) but even it was intended, I have to admit I can't stand musicals.

The opening number was funny (when I could make out the lyrics), but the rest of the songs weren't up to par. And the big fight scene was seriously distracting from what was happening on stage - which is, of course, all that really matters...

I wonder how The Samurai would fare as a musical...

I went into this with trepidation, but then found the first 15 minutes or so very entertaining - a mashup of Sleepaway Camp and Glee (with a dash of Dario Argento's Opera) isn't really such a bad idea.

Unfortunately the rest of the film concentrated far too much on two or three main characters, the parody aspect went out of the window and it ended up as a run of the mill tame slasher movie. But yes, it was better than Repo! The Genetic Opera.

Most enjoyable film for the fest for me. Went down a storm in the FilmFour screen.

The person to the right of me walked out after 10 minutes. The person to my left laughed joyously throughout.
I was entertained and enjoyed it for what it was, but it didn't raise much of a laugh in me.
Just goes to show, each to their own.

That's the good thing with this film; you know very quickly if it's going to be for you or not. Efficiency FTW.

It's got Meatloaf in it, legend. Going to watch with the whole family at some point.

This will be a cult film in about 10 years time. And with have sing-a-long screenings at PCC.
