Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key

Superb giallo but then it's difficult not to love anything in which Edwige Fenech appears. Alan gave a really interesting and entertaining intro to this one which helped to set the scene and from then on it was everything you expect; boorish men, free-spirited women and a serial killer plot which spills plenty of claret. Oh and a cat that let out an unholy yowl every 2.5 minutes. But there was one twist that nobody anticipated. The dvd player packed up 5 minutes before the end after a short period in which it kept sticking. The audience huffed, embarrassed ushers reassured, but to no avail. That was it. Arrow for whom this was a showcase for their remastered dvd must have been delighted. To be fair, in a screening I had attended at PCC the day before there were also problems with the film skipping. A big black mark against that place I'm afraid.
