queenb wrote:Thanks Matt, just disappointing that I've been up since 6am counting the time down to noon and then the tickets just went! I was picking seats to be told they had gone which was confusing and frustrating.

Oh well I will have my own frightfest in my living room on that day !!
Well as i speculated-there may be something not quite right so keep an eye on here for a while if you can.Maybe tweet Alan?
Fingers crossed for you and the others anyway.

amazing.

Got 5 tickets for our little crew in under 2 minutes. despite seats disappearing as fast as I clicked on them.

super slick and flawless ticketing Ian. albeit it being a crazy few minutes...

My email confirmation has a different seat number to what I thought I was booking
Must've been part of the total chaotic way the system worked
Does anyone have a numbered seating plan of screen 9 - Horror Channel Screen?
Would love to know where my seat actually is

I hope all those who have been disappointed get seats
There are still 6 screens in the multiplex unaccounted for??
What are they being used for?

Ian suggests there may be some where people have 'blocked' the seats but not purchased them, no idea if this is correct but maybe.

Sadly I too have been unlucky, but as others have said there must be something else going on here to have all 3 screens sell out in mere minutes! So there could still be hope...

I am genuinely sorry for those who're still struggling to get tickets. My experience is the same as those who found it super-quick and easy - I was in and out within 5 minutes for both of my day passes. I know it is beyond sucky when you're sitting waiting and everything looks sold out, but I hope more will be released as the people with 10,000 browser windows open time out and release more tickets.

i feel lucky that i got two tickets but i could easily have not and as i book hotel and train tickets in advance i now have concerns for next year.

will other screens be given for the main films for those who havent got passes this time or is that possible

the booking process was quick but i too selected two passes in the horror screen and only one was there when i went to pay so i have now got into the splice screen.

well chuffed at my success and i hope those who missed out can get some....maybe ian will add further passes..........good luck.

Well now, this is a bit of a shame. I have been able to get a pass for years, whether through the sleepy queue or booking online, and this is the first year I've not managed. I've not booked single tickets for some years now, so I hope they don't sell out within 10 minutes of the 'on sale' time as with the passes, as I'll probably try and stitch together a Frankenstein day or two, film by film. My favourite part of the festival was always the retro discovery screen day - do we know if they can be booked individually too when the lineup is finalised?

Looks like some seats are now available again, in all three screens.

I still don't understand how the system handles day passes vs. weekend passes.

Those who didn't have any luck earlier keep checking as there seem to be tickets popping back up as available... That was crazy stressful compared to the sleepy queue, the guys certainly fixed the crashing problem.
