Just seen that Virgin Trains are having a sale. Seems to last until 7th and covers period of the festival, so for those wanting cheaper travel it seems to be a good time to buy.

For example, tickets to/from Manchester are £10 each way.

Indeed I got my return from Glasgow for £28. It's usually £135, that means I now have £107 extra for London Pride.

And once you're there...
The Night Tube launches this Friday, 19 August on the Victoria and Central lines, and will be running all night on Fridays and Saturdays.

Trains will run as follows:
• Victoria line – entire line
• Central line – Ealing Broadway to/from Loughton/Hainault via Newbury Park

There will be a train about every 10 minutes. Standard off-peak fares will be charged and Day Travelcards cover journeys made until 04.29 the next day. There is an extensive network of night buses and some routes have been extended to serve Night Tube stations to help meet the increased demand.

The Night Tube will also launch on the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines this autumn.
