More like "Let's be pretencious". The film invested its efforts in bad computer UI interaction (that did not add anything to storytelling) and repetitive industrial sound effects to simulate non-existent tension. Death scenes of awfully acted characters you don't care about were uninspired and boring and generally very anticlimatic. Kind of an achievement to get this produced.
