I'm new to Frightfest but have a film I've edited playing at the festival (Fanged Up).

Are there any events for filmmakers who have films at Frightfest? It'd be great to meet up with other horror filmmakers.

Hi man, Firstly yes there is usually a directors lunch over the course of the festival where attending directors that have films in the festival can mingle in. And there are also numerous afterparties throughtout the entire weekend. But moreover from this, this overiding sensibility of FrightFest is about acceptance, passion and love for the horror community and it has aways been a central tenet to break down the boundaries between film maker and film fan that other festivals instil. So I can guarantee throughout the entire weekend you will meet a plethora of horror filmakers, possibly more just from chatting to audience members than you even would at a dedicated filmaker party. Congratulations on getting FANGED UP in, can't wait to see it.
