Registering for pass holder/wristband..

In recent years I have found it a bit of a struggle to register for my festival pass and pick up laminated festival pass holders/wristbands, either standing in a long queue or as in previous years being an unwilling participant in a cinema lobby free for all, does anyone know what time can we pick up our lanyards and other bits and bobs this year?, as although it`s all part of the experience, I would really like to avoid at least some of the chaos this time around...

I treat getting passes/lanyards/wristbands a bit like the chef who survived the Titanic.

Get comfortably drunk, wander in and up to where the passes are, beam sunnily and rosy-cheeked at those around you and things general work out without a fuss.
