Train Travel - Bank Holiday Weekend

Post by Brooker! »

Thought this might be useful for some.
I got caught out by these last year and thought it might help others. Especially those travelling home straight from the last film.

Once again Euston Station is completely closed down for the bank holiday weekend. No trains going ion or out with insane diversions to get out of London if you're going north.
Same if you're coming to London from the north on the Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Trains are terminating at Milton Keynes and it's buses and overground to get near London!

Yup!
Bastards got me last year with it.
Booked my season ticket before works were announced, needed to go back and forth a couple of days for work and realised a week beforehand that I wouldn't be able to because Euston was bloody SHUT!!!

Ended up doing work stuff from the hotel room in the evenings. Not ideal!

No such ties this year! TO THE PUB!
