I'd agree with it being a strong year.
I saw what I feel was only one duff/irritating film (Braid), a bunch of average/better than average ones, some good ones and one of the best of any festival.
So with most rating higher than meh, it was a strong year.

This was my second year, so I dont have a lot to go on, but compared to last year id say the floor has risen, but the roof has lowered. Basically, there wasnt anything that was utterly terrible (im looking at you, Psychopaths), but nothing that blew my socks off (like Better watch out).
There were far too many 'arty' films and non-horror films for me. I think we need a bit more Fright in Frightfest and a slightly fewer dance routines, rap battles and sci-fi action films.
