FrightFest

Admittedly, I was ridiculously drawn to this originally because Najarra Townsend was in it, but I was so glad that I picked it as an alternative to the main screen, because the performance of the lead actress, Suzanne Voss, was an absolute tour de force. Her persona changes throughout the film and she is at times, hilarious, frightening, gross, sweet and tragic, to name but a few. Shot in glorious black and white, it's a real must see.

Hilarious, disturbing and disgusting in equal measures and quite a cinematic achievement given that it was put together within the constraints of a challenge set by another festival.
