Can't complain about the fruit selection at HHH brekky :)

Booked too - actually worked out a few quid cheaper than last year for the same place!

I have a feeling there may be a few posts on here warning of mobile phone use during the fest soon - seems from the Ts and Cs on the back of the weekend passes that the guys are keen to nip this problem in the bud! :)

I think this sums it up perfectly :)

streetrw wrote:Could I just add to the calls of TURN YOUR MOBILES OFF, YOU TOSSBAGS!!!!!!!! Not mute, not vibrate, OFF. If you're in the Empire it's reasonable to assume the movie is your priority and everything else can wait - the cricket scores, what you're having for tea, whether Brenda fancies Dwayne or not. If there's something else that can't wait, go do that instead and take your 50,000W searchlight phone with you. You can pick enemy aircraft out of the sky with those lightbeams. Quite apart from treating the film with total disrespect, it's a damned nuisance to everyone else in the immediate vicinity. First person to snatch a phone from their idiotic textaholic neighbour and throw it across the room will probably get a round of applause....

Sometimes I find your stereotypes rather offensive....

That reminds me of one of my favourite moments during last year's festival - Ian telling John Landis off when Landis took a call from his wife during Ian's introduction to I Sell The Dead in the discovery screen!

So, to summarise 10 pages of posts...

Bring a pillow / cushion. And also a blanket if you usually get cold in cinemas.
Turn off your mobile.
Bring loo roll and air freshener if you're in HHH
Wear comfy clothes.
Turn off your mobile.
Don't get too drunk (or rather, do whatever you can so that you don't get hungover!)
Turn off your mobile.
Avoid Satans Puppy. (Especially if you are Melissa George)

I'll add one of my own. Bring some slippers or slippersocks, as who want's to spend all day in their shoes!

Any others people want to add?

What if my mobile randomly plays "FUCK YOU LANDIS!" in Joe Lynchs bulky tone, is that ok?
