Hey Maniacal and Mike108 - Good to see some new faces (or names, at least) on here :-) It's the best way to do it - throw yourself into it with a weekend pass - FrightFesters don't do things by halves. If you love your horror films, and also enjoy socialising with like-minded people, then you're not gonna go far wrong come August bank holiday weekend! You'll find out all you need to know about the fest on the forum, or by askling any of the regulars or organisers (who are all on here) :-) It really is a great atmosphere, and I'm sure you're gonna have a rockin' time!

:-)

Loving how Kimby tries to hide the fact that she’s a institutionalised serial killer by being nice… all we wanna do is eat people but Kimby… woaaaaah that’s a world of hurt you don’t wanna get into… flaying, genital mutilation… then there’s that thing she does with the feathers. It’s not pretty… google her!!! :D

Haha, how did you know? :-) No but seriously, don't Google me - all you'll find is some embarassing modelling pics from my beauty pageant days and a load of articles on broadband written for work (nothing to see here, move along) - hehe.

*I'm not actually a serial killer though, so that's good!

Compulsive liar too... it's in her Forum Profile... she'll have you hog tied in under 3 seconds and the skin off your legs in six... I've witnessed it... it's not pretty...

seems as good a time as any to enter this thread. hopefully i'll have long enough to scream CHOKE ON EM' before losing consciousness.

first time going to a full weekend, could not be more excited.
spent the last 10 minutes trying to think of my favourite horror film and all I can think of is american werewolf in london. I haven't been able to get it out of my head since the line-up was announced, the nazi sequence is going to blow the place apart, I can't bloody wait!

anyway will be a pleasure to meet you all, oldies and newbies alike, and will be getting the glad rags on for the thursday

If you love AAWIL, you'll be glad to know that the director of Beware the Moon (the doc about the film, which I think will be awesome!) Paul, will be there along with John Landis (the man himself) for a Q and A - just so you know to say hi to them if you see them over the weekend :-)

It's an awesome film and seeing it with you lot will be more amazing. The transformation scene is up there with some of the best horror moments of all time.

It is up there with the pale man scene from Pan's Labyrinth, the hand scene from evil dead 2 and the reveal and the corridor fight from Oldboy.

Seriously if Rick Baker is there I may hump his leg.
