Would that be Collyhurst or the more upmarket echelons of Harpurhey?

It'll be my first Frightfest, along with two of my buddies who are also first-timers. We watch a lot of movies, but have never considered heading to Leicester Square for FF before. Looking forward to it immensely though - getting together some ideas for a bit of a monster costume etc.

I don't work in an office, and, although I was mocked by some guy in the sleepy queue for choosing these, my favourite Horror movies are The Exorcist, Don't Look Now and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Apparently I should have chosen Cabin Fever, I was told. Cabin Fever is OK.

I wasn't the guy that mocked you, but Cabin Fever is one of my all time favourite horror movies.

Totally grims me out.

How can you be mocked for liking the exorcist, texas chainsaw and dont look now? They are three classics and defining films in not only horror but cinema too.....

Cabin fever on the other hand is just good honest god lovin flesh eating fun....

If you don't mind me creeping in from the dark corner's where I hide, I'd like to just jump in the middle of this thread.

I popped my FrightFest cherry last year, after years of living vicariusly through the newsletter and such, and now I'm addicted.
First horror I saw was Night of the Living Dead. I was four. I cried. A lot.

First film I watched by choice was American Werewolf in London and I fell in love with both horror films and special effects from then on. (I fancy myself a bit of an ametuer SPFX artist now... lack of emphasis on the "artist" part.)

Now that I've ranted at you a bit, does anyone mind answering a question?
Does anyone know anymore about the writing competition? Like, do you have to attend the seminar to enter. Coz I want to go, but I want to see Smash Cut too... I like cake, you see.

Anyway, bored you all now, so I'm off to cower under the table again.

Wish you well, and may Evil lose your address when his filofax blows open in the wind.

Regards
- Hag

Hi. If you don't mind me crawling in from the shadows I'd like to jump into the middle of this thread.

I popped my FF cherry last year and have been addicted since.

First film I saw by choice was American Werewolf in London and I fell in love with horror and sepcial effects. (I now fancy myself as a bit of an ametuer SPFX make-up artist - though a distinct lack of ephasis on the "artist" part.)

Now that I have ranted a bit, I wonder if anyone would mind if I asked a question.
Does anyone know anything more about the Writing Competition? Like do I have to attend the seminar to enter, coz I'd quite like to see Smash Cut too and they clash.

Anyway, now that I've bored you I go cower under the table some more.

Wish you well and may Evil lose your address when his filofax blows open in the wind.

It's nice to know other people get that error, thankfully I checked before reposting :)

How do the 2 screens for films work? because I only picked seats in one screen? or will I have the same seat in both screens?

Miles Platting... how did you survive there?
