Doomsday preview

this looks great and pretty strong on gore and action. rather amusing for marshall to turn up late and McEvoy/Jones answering random questions

It does seem a little odd that no-one stood up during production and said, 'Hey guys, does South Africa look anything like Scotland?'

But ignoring that little problem, it looked pretty good in terms of action.

To be fair, Neil wasn't actually late... there were just a few last minute hitches - as can so often happen (sattelite link ups, anyone? :D)

Fingers crossed, hopefully we'll see the footage - as it was intended - again sometime over the weekend... maybe. Possibly. You know how it is!

Glad to see this yesterday as I'd missed the original attempted showing.

Poor Neil Marshall having to run off to his edit suite to burn his DVD after that intial hitch. Worth the wait!

Looked rather good in both Black & White and Colour. Like the look of it which reminded me Mad Max/Duran Duran "Wild Boys" video.

So be looking forward to this one.

Looks pretty good. Though I hope he cuts out that line where Rhona Mitra goes "There's something you don't see eveyday". I was pleased we didn't hear it when they showed it the second time.

Rubbish. Utter pants. Can't believe the crapola Neil churns out.

Only kidding, looked jaw-droppingly fun. And after Neils last 2 movie gems anything he does would of had my support and attention....but that trailer just floored me. Can't wait

This does look like a supremely entertaining movie, its just a shame we have to wait till April for it.

While not intended, the black and white trailer did give the film a great look. It was even better with the colour version.

Much kudos to Neil for supplying it in the first place and then battling with the technical hitches so that we still got to see it, not everyone would have gone that extra mile. A real trooper!

I thought it looked great, big fan of post-apocalyptic movies and I'm sure this will really deliver the goods!

As above, Neil was a real trooper to ensure we got to see the colour trailer in the end - and I managed to get my Doomsday booklet signed too :)
First things first, stay calm.

All I can say about Doomsday is - 'bring it on'...

The trailer looked great and it's brilliant to have the return of the post-apoc movie - especially one with a decent budget and a de(s)cent director at the helm...
It's horrible... I love it... What is it?

From Neil Marshall's myspace blog, it seems they have only had advance "audience choose what happens" screenings.
Not finished prints yet.

I am quite looking forward to Mad Max in Scotland.

(DISCLAIMER: I have only seen the rough promo at FF07)
